In the 1970s, George Joseph moved from Wisconsin as a qualified carpet installer to Roswell. In 1982, he opened George's Carpet and Tile. His wife, current owner, Joann Joseph, worked previously as an optometric technician at an eye doctor's. Joann then assisted George while Gary Gingrich (their son-in-law) was taught carpet installing by George, even at his hospital bed! Sadly George passed away in 1992. Gary went to school to learn how to lay tile and Joann took on ownership of the store. Joann is a mother of two, grandmother of 6 and great grandmother of 1 and a Roswellian for numerous years!

A friendly smile and love for George's Carpet & Tile welcomes the customers ever since Benaiah Gingrich, grandson of Joann Joseph and son of Gary Gingrich, stepped into the showroom.
